Jojoba and grape seed oil make excellent carriers for the lemon oil. When used on the skin in a carrier, you should wait until it's fully absorbed before going out into the sun, as it can increase the likelihood of sunburn. It is wonderfully refreshing, energizing and also calming aromatically. Mixed with lotion it can be great as a massage lotion and also helps with headaches, opening the sinuses, and uplifting the senses. You can add a few drops to your shampoo or conditioner to refresh your hair. You can also add lemon oil to your diffuser to remove odors and to provide a fresh, clean scent to each room.
