Lucky Star 14 Simple Royal Dehydrator Sheets with Teflon Really Save Time and Energy

I've had a dehydrator for many years, but never thought to look for new sheets for it. I had one sheet but it really didn't work well so I never used it. I was thrilled with the idea of a "modern" sheet that might make it easier to clean. When I was looking at dehydrator sheets I noticed that some were very expensive and yet they all looked the same to me. I got the opportunity to try the Simple Royal Dehydrator Sheets that are sold on Amazon by Lucky Star 14. These are 14" square sheets. My dehydrator is round. All I had to do was place and trace the dehydrator tray dimensions on the 14" square sheet. I happened to do this with a pen that had dried up, so no ink came out. I was trying to see where I had marked when I looked at the back of the sheet and could clearly see the markings. It was easy to cut these sheets to fit my dehydrator. I had a flat of strawberries that I planned to dehydrate. They were cut in half and I placed them on the sheet. While I knew it had teflon, I never thought it would be better than the one sheet I had. I was so wrong. I tested on 4 trays, 2 with these new sheets and 2 without. After dehydrating I found that these new sheets truly helped to release the strawberries, it was much easier and much less mess. The 2 trays with no sheets really didn't want to let go of those strawberries. I had to pick them up with my fingernails and I did leave some strawberry residue behind. I did find that I needed to dehydrate the fruit slightly longer when using the teflon sheets, but this was not a problem. I am so happy to find a product that makes my life easier, really does what it says it will do, and saves me time and cleanup. I just sponged the sheets off with soap and hot water and returned them to the dehydrator trays once they were dry. I definitely recommend this product for use with your dehydrator, square or round.
