When I ordered this product I thought it would be just like other delicate laundry bags I had purchased in the past. I was wrong. The Yaelo Design's Delicate Laundry bags are carefully made. The mesh is soft and very fine. It seems to slide away from other heavier pieces of laundry. The zipper is set in well and the zipper tab fits under a small section of cloth so that the zipper tab can't catch or snag in other laundry. I had only used a small sized laundry bag before, so I was happily surprised to get 5 different sizes. Fantastic Sam's Salon in Central, Louisiana is not the place to go for any kind of professional haircut

I wanted to get my hair cut and didn't want to take time to drive somewhere so I thought I would give Fantastic Sam's a try. I live in the city of Central in Louisiana and this salon is quite close to my home. I just walked in and told the stylist that I wanted a regular haircut. There were no other customers in the salon. She took me to her station and started the consultation. I told her that I wanted quite a bit of length cut and that I wanted it to be chin length and in layers. She didn't seem to understand what I meant by layers and I asked if she had some pictures so I could show her what I meant. She brought the book and I pointed out 3 hair styles that were very close to what I wanted. She asked where to cut my bangs and I said they should be at the top of my eyebrows. Then she grabbed her spray bottle and sprayed my hair and began cutting. I was somewhat surprised by this as the Fantastic Sam's headquarters website talks about all of their cuts having a Fantastic Sam's shampoo therapy. This was my first hint that things would not go as planned. As the stylist was cutting my hair her cellphone kept ringing and twice she even answered it and engaged in conversation with whoever was calling. One call lasted several minutes and she gave no indication that she was busy working. She cut one side of my hair and it looked shorter than I had asked for, she then cut the other side, then she kept going back and forth from side to side trying to get them even. This ended up with my hair now being ear length, which is quite a bit shorter than chin length. She asked about my bangs and I pointed to another style where the bangs were feathered, not a straight cut across. She then cut my bangs straight across and they ended up at least 2 finger widths above my eyebrows. She offered to blow dry my hair, but by that time I just wanted to go home. I was embarrassed at how my hair looked. I decided to wash and dry my hair when I got home. It didn't look any better. I went to the FS main website to write up a complaint, but it said since each store was individually owned complaints should go to the owner/manager. I was not about to get into a confrontation with an owner. It is just sad that this franchise seems to have no basic standards that each salon has to follow, and doesn't even care enough about the customer to have a process to resolve issues and complaints. I will never go to any Fantastic Sam's again and I plan to tell all my friends to never go there. So, as I do so many reviews on my blog, here is another, but it's a sad tale of woe about a business that used to be quite good, but has salons that can just do what they want to do. While 1 rave review may bring in some customers, all it takes is 1 negative review to drive many more away. So, go anywhere but here for your salon services. They get an F for failing to treat the customer right.

Lucky Star 14 Simple Royal Dehydrator Sheets with Teflon Really Save Time and Energy

I've had a dehydrator for many years, but never thought to look for new sheets for it. I had one sheet but it really didn't work well so I never used it. I was thrilled with the idea of a "modern" sheet that might make it easier to clean. When I was looking at dehydrator sheets I noticed that some were very expensive and yet they all looked the same to me. I got the opportunity to try the Simple Royal Dehydrator Sheets that are sold on Amazon by Lucky Star 14. These are 14" square sheets. My dehydrator is round. All I had to do was place and trace the dehydrator tray dimensions on the 14" square sheet. I happened to do this with a pen that had dried up, so no ink came out. I was trying to see where I had marked when I looked at the back of the sheet and could clearly see the markings. It was easy to cut these sheets to fit my dehydrator. I had a flat of strawberries that I planned to dehydrate. They were cut in half and I placed them on the sheet. While I knew it had teflon, I never thought it would be better than the one sheet I had. I was so wrong. I tested on 4 trays, 2 with these new sheets and 2 without. After dehydrating I found that these new sheets truly helped to release the strawberries, it was much easier and much less mess. The 2 trays with no sheets really didn't want to let go of those strawberries. I had to pick them up with my fingernails and I did leave some strawberry residue behind. I did find that I needed to dehydrate the fruit slightly longer when using the teflon sheets, but this was not a problem. I am so happy to find a product that makes my life easier, really does what it says it will do, and saves me time and cleanup. I just sponged the sheets off with soap and hot water and returned them to the dehydrator trays once they were dry. I definitely recommend this product for use with your dehydrator, square or round.

Salon Supply Store Makeup Blender Sponge Is Strong, Yet Gentle

This happy pink sponge is non-latex and helps makeup or skin care lotions glide on the face. It is very sturdy, but also very soft. It holds just the right amount of product for application, so it never gets wet, drippy or gooey. Two years ago I broke my tailbone/coccyx. While it didn't hurt badly at the time, it never stopped hurting at least somewhat. I would sit and could feel the bone moving. The fabric provides steady, gentle compression and support. Even in the heat of Louisiana it remains comfortable to wear. The construction and fabric makes it easy to put on the sleeves and to remove them. The upper band is not binding or too tight and the sleeves are easy to take off. Many "over the counter" calf stockings or sleeves seem to actually compress the leg too much, but this fabric is lightweight and feels like a second skin. I have used other products from this company and have found them to be of excellent quality. There are 2 sleeves in each package making them very cost effective. They can be hand or machine washed. I definitely recommend this company and this product for compression and support of your calf.

Within a few minutes I could feel myself relaxing. This cream allowed me to fall asleep relatively quickly and slept through the night. I awoke with no residual drowsiness or grogginess. This appears to be an effective way to get a product into the system. It is easy to use and not messy. The product causes drowsiness, so it is recommended to not use it while operating machinery. The Sentey Brio 2800 mAh power bank is small and lightweight. It is a very sturdy, slick piece of construction. It is very portable without adding extra carrying weight. Upon opening the package, you fine the power bank itself, a short charging cable, instructions and a nice carrying case. It is necessary to charge the power bank before using. When you plug the cable into your charging source the light on the powerbank will show red. Once the unit is fully charged, the light will be blue. Being retired, I pretty much have all the time in the world. I say that because the charging of your small electronic is slow when using the powerbank. Initially, it needs to be charged for about 2-3 hours. Then, depending on your electronic component it takes a number of hours to charge that component. I do not mind this, but my husband was frustrated that it didn't charge faster. I basically see power banks/small electronic rechargers as an emergency item. Carrying it and your electronic device, you would use the power bank if you couldn't find a direct recharging station, or, as is the case in many airports, if there is not an available socket for direct recharging. The beauty of this product is it's size. Small enough and sturdy enough to fit in a pocket and it contains enough of a charge to fully recharge most small electronic items. Sentey Flow Headset

I should start off by saying that these are listed on Amazon as a "Kids Headphone". You may ask why that is. Well measuring from the earcup to earcup, the measurement is 13.5 inches approximately. Measuring my head from the middle of one ear to the middle of the other ear is 15 inches approximately. They are adjustable and the 13.5 inches is based on the earcups being fully extended. I did use them myself and initially they are comfortable. The earcups work will to deaden noise. Bass, treble and mid sounds come through very well. They are lightweight and quite easily portable as they fold up into the center. The Sentey Flow headset looks clean and slick. It comes in a variety of colors. I got the Blue and White one. It has quality construction and feels sturdy. I believe this would be an excellent headphone for a young person (child to early adolescent). There is a build in microphone that is inline with the cable, which can be used in gaming or on the phone. There is a single cable that attaches to one earcup. That cable can be disconnected and replaced if a longer/shorter cable is needed or if the cable is damaged. Cord length is 72 inches, which is excellent for connection to external sources such as a desktop computer. Overall I would definitely recommend this headset. I do wish the packaging was fully recyclable, but it is sturdy packaging.
