EyeSnugs Are A Revolution In Sleep Masks

I am amazed and astonished with this product. I have used sleep masks off and one over the years but usually found them to slippery or too hot or too constricting. Then I got these EyeSnugs. It seems like a simple concept, but I have never seen contoured sleep masks. First, you get two EyeSnugs per package, plus 2 pairs of foam ear plugs. Each EyeSnug is in it's own velvet pouch. The miracle happens when you open the EyeSnug. The inside is contoured outward around the eye area. This means that when you put them on they do NOT touch your eyes. You can actually open your eyes while wearing them. They are extra soft and cushiony and the strap which goes around your head is a soft elastic about 3/4" wide and in the back is a velcro strip that allows you to adjust the diameter of the band around your head. They are basically 3 dimensional sleep masks that float over your eyes. When I wore the EyeSnug I found that it did not feel hot or slippery. It gently rested on my eyebrows and I could barely feel that it was there. It provided perfect blackout conditions and actually helped me get back to sleep when I was sleeping during the daytime when the sun was out. The idea of contouring the part over the eyes seems like a simple idea, but I have never seen a sleep mask like this. I very highly recommend this product to help improve your sleep, and comfort while sleeping. These would be absolutely perfect on a plane or for shift workers who have to sleep during the day.

The Easy@Home TENS Unit Provides Positive Therapeutic Treatment at Home

Chronic pain is a condition that many people have. Lately, there has been a lot on the media about the long term negative effects of pain killers and their prescription and usage is being strictly regulated. Many years ago, after a back injury, my physical therapist began using a TENS unit on my back. TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. While the name sounds like torture and pain, it really is more like a tapping feeling using electrodes. The TENS unit is the first and only thing that could control my chronic pain. The way it was explained to me is that the TENS unit produces electrical pulses in the area of the pain. This fools the brain into focusing on those impulses rather than the pain signals, so the actual pain is not felt or is much less. Additionally, the pulses help to relax the area, which also reduces the feelings of pain. Often when we are in pain we will tighten up and this just makes the pain worse. The unit I had at that time was a stubby, black box, similar to an old style pager. It had numerous dials with many numbers and basically was impossible for me to figure out how to program it or change the original programming. I used that old TENS unit periodically and while it did help, there was really no way I could adjust it when there was pain elsewhere or if I wanted a different level or type of pulses. I was excited to use this new kind of TENS unit.

The Easy@Home TENS unit is a digital unit. Rather than a maze of little knobs with numbers and strange symbols, it has a backlit screen with pictures showing the types of massage and also auto-programs for each type of massage. Once the type of massage is selected then the specific program can be selected. It is auto-set for a 20 minutes treatment. This is a sleek unit with the ability to connect 2 sets of electrodes (4 individual electrodes). The provided electrodes are a perfect size and shape and attach well to the skin. I primarily use this on my back. When I use 4 electrodes I place one on the upper left side of my spine and the other on the lower right side, then the other two electrodes are placed in the upper right and lower left side. This provides almost a rolling pulse across my spine. All I need to do is push one button to select the type of pulse and another to select the program and it's done and I am in comfort. I can adjust the intensity of the impulse also and can extend the time of the program. I tested this unit repeatedly and found it to help my back feel better than it has in years. It relaxes my tight muscles and reduces the sciatic pain. The unit is thin and lightweight and fits easily in my pocket. I also have a little holder from an old cellphone that I can attach to my waistband. I was amazed to see where this technology has gone. This unit also has a wall charger and another cable included so you can recharge this via your USB port on a computer or other USB-type charger, there is no need to mess with dismantling and pulling out batteries to get charged. The Easy@Home TENS makes it so easy to use with the digital pictures and the pre-set time and programs. The massage impulses are perfect, even better I can decide which type I want and can change them with the push of a button. I have recommended TENS therapy to many friends, but now I will recommend the Easy@Home TENS therapy. This is so much better than taking pain pills with all their side effects and dangers. It will improve your life and let you live without pain.

The Ohuhu 22 Piece Crochet Hook Kit Provides All the Tools You Need

I am an avid crocheter. I do have many crochet hooks and they are all over the house. However, this great set of 22 hooks from Ohuhu puts all these tools at my fingertips. They are contained in a zippered, plum colored case and each has it's own slide-in spot. Not only is it great to have all my hooks in one place, it also reminds me to put the hook back in the right spot. Additionally, when I am deciding on what gauge hook I want to use, I can easily look at the bigger and smaller hooks to determine if one of them would be better. On one side of the case are the larger hooks for yarn, on the other side are the smaller, silver hooks primarily used for threads. The hooks are marked in millimeters, so it is useful to have a small crosswalk for the alphabetic listing of the hook based on millimeters. I am including one here in my review to make it easier. These hooks are made of aluminum, which keeps them lightweight. They are very smooth which makes sure they do not snag on any thread or yarn. Combining the weight and smoothness makes the crocheting fly by. I am very impressed by this collection and believe that it is perfect for beginners and advanced crocheters. BRINutrition L-Tryptophan Provides Restful Sleep With No Hangover

In this hectic, fast-paced world with constant stimulation from cellphones, computers, tv's and people talking everywhere you go, it can sometimes be difficult to get to sleep and stay asleep. I've been using BRINutrition's L-Tryptophan to help. I find that within about a half hour it gently relaxes me and allows me to fall into a restful sleep. I always wear earplugs while sleeping to block out any noise, which occurs even in a quiet household. This and the tryptophan help me stay asleep until I need to wake up. When I wake up I find that I do not feel at all groggy or hungover. As with all sleep aids, it is best to not use this every night, but occasional use really helps me get a good night's sleep. BRINutrition's L-Tryptophan is produced in the USA in a regulated facility. It contains no yeast, soy, gluten, wheat, sugars, dairy, egg, corn, salt, preservatives or artificial flavors or colors. UNi 100% Rosehip Seed Oil is 100% Wonderful

I have used Rosehip Seed Oil for many of my blends for hair, skin, nails and scalp. The UNi Rosehip Seed Oil is especially great to use because the Rosehips are Organic, Fragrance Free and very fresh. This rose-colored oil spreads easily and is absorbed quickly. It moisturizes, heals and protects delicate skin. It also revives limp or frizzy hair, allowing more manageability, shine, and style. It also reduces dryness and itchiness of the scalp. It works well to soften and reduce calluses on the feet and to soften cuticles and rehydrate and protect nails. Rosehip seed oil is very economical as only a small amount is needed. Generally, when I use this in my blends, I measure in drops and it provides it's benefits. It is quite a dry oil, so it's not greasy and will absorb into the skin/hair/scalp/nails.

One of my recipes is for my Hair Helper. I start with:
20 drops of argan oil,
mix in 10 drops of UNi Rosehip Seed Oil,
pierce and add the contents of 1 Vitamin E capsule,
add 3-5 drops of essential fragrance oil, or vanilla, or scented oil or even a few drops of perfume,
add 1 pinch of pearlized mica powder (you can even use a light colored eye shadow, but only a tiny pinch as this will provide a pearlescent shine to the hair)
I shake well before using and only use a few drops at a time, applied to my palm, then both palms are rubbed together and smoothed lightly on hair and scalp.
This recipe can also be diluted with fractionated coconut oil to make a shine spray.
I make up this recipe for my friends and put it in small bottles to share.

Overall I definitely recommend UNi's Rosehip Seed Oil for all the benefits to skin, hair and nails and it's usefulness in blends for the whole body. Even when used by itself it is a hydrating, healing and soothing product without harmful chemicals or additives.

Cornucopia Brand's Gunpowder High Caffeine Green Tea Is Flavorful Awakening At It's Best

I love tea and drink it every day in copious amounts. Sadly, I have found green teas to be too weak and without flavor. But not this tea. If I was served a cup of this tea I would swear it was black tea. This tea is shaped more like little tea nibblets rather than flakes. Only a small amount is needed to give a flavor burst in your mouth. It is a rich flavor that is smooth, non-bitter and very enjoyable. I tend to over-steep my tea as I like it strong. Usually that results is a slight bitter taste, but not with this tea. There was no bitterness even when I let it steep until it was cooled down. Also, I like to flavor my teas, either with an already flavored tea or with the addition of concentrated flavoring oils or actual pieces of fruits, coconut, chocolate or vanilla. This tea stands up to a lot of flavoring and still imparts consistent great taste. While this tea does have quite an eye-opening amount of caffeine, it also is smooth and there is no quick jump to high energy or abrupt drop in energy levels. It gently raises my energy level and smoothly relaxes me. I have even drank this tea rather close to bedtime and still had no problem falling asleep. This tea is economical since I needed less than usual to get the full flavor experience. Overall, I definitely recommend this tea for old and new tea drinkers alike. I have used other products from Cornucopia Brand's product line and have found them to be of high quality. This tea is yet another great product from Cornucopia Brand.

The Lipogaine Hair Loss Prevention Shampoo contains ketoconazole, which is the main ingredient in most hair loss shampoos. However, this Shampoo is free of parabens and sulfates, which are chemicals that can problems over time. It also contains Biotin and Emu Oil, both of which can improve the health and appearance of your hair and reduce the dryness that can be caused by ketoconazole. This is a mild, minty shampoo. It lathers into almost a foam and feels great on the scalp. I usually apply and lather the shampoo and leave it on my hair for a minute or two. I love the mint fragrance. Once I am rinsing I can instantly feel how soft and squeaky clean my hair feels. I have had much less itchiness on my scalp since using this shampoo. The RunCubby Fitness and Running Belt by Pratico Outdoors has a full 13 1/2 inches of space for your "stuff". There is a central zipper that opens to a compartment with a full inside pocket and 2 smaller pockets. You can store credit cards, licenses, gum and other smallish items in the 2 smaller pockets, while the full inside pocket can hold your keys, cellphone, mp3 player or other essentials. There is a crafted small opening from the full pocket to the outside so you can string your earbuds from your phone/mp3 players to the outside for use while you are in motion. On the other side is a small pocket, also with a zipper. This is convenient for medication, gum or other small items. I really like the way this is constructed to allow for the maximum possible storage spaces for your basic needs. I was worried that this would be uncomfortable to wear. I am used to wearing fanny packs on occasion, usually front facing rather than on my fanny. I found the Run Cubby to be much more comfortable that fanny packs. It is more spread out and you don't feel it shifting, drooping or pulling. The sewn-in strap stretches to about 50 inches and can be reduced to less than that easily. The Cubby is made of what appears to be ripstop nylon and a cushioned foam fabric. It stays cool and in place while walking and running. If you don't fill it to the brim it is easy to wear it under clothes and no one would know you had it on. I definitely recommend the Run Cubby for exercising or just running to the store. It is unobtrusive, comfortable, convenient and large enough to hold many things.

Golden Tips Teas has perfected a wonderful Organic Singbulli Darjeeling Tea. It is mildly flavored, but strong and robust without any bitterness or flavor distortion. I love tea and never drink coffee. I make tea by the gallon and have found this Organic Singbulli Darjeeling Tea to be wonderful to drink, day or night. This black tea is also Fair Trade, to encourage tea farmers to produce the very best, healthiest teas. It is full of antioxidants and very refreshing either hot or cold. It yields a strong brew, so less tea is needed than usual, saving money. It has undertones of vanilla, caramel and chocolate. Additionally, the flavor is so good that minimal sugar is needed. This tea also works very well to add flavor oils. I love using a drop or two of raspberry essential flavoring to my teas or even a citrus such as lemon or orange. To do this I place the leaves in a small bowl and drop a few drops of the flavor essential oil on them, then stir and let dry. Usually I stir them a few more times. Fanny packs have come a long way from when they were first introduced and seen as an added bulge to your backend or frontend. Now, with multiple electronics that are in almost continuous use, tying up your eyes and fingers, fanny packs are a great way to carry your "stuff" and still have your hands free. The Bridger Supply Fanny Pack is actually roomy. I can get a subset of my "stuff" from my 15 pound full purse into this fanny pack and put my water bottle, even two, into the side pockets. And I still have my hands free. There are 2 rather large areas to put items such as wallet, phone, tissues, glasses and other small items. In the first area there is a zipper enclosure for flat items and on the outside front there is a smaller zippered pocket. There are 2 side areas that can each hold a water bottle, great for jogging or being outside in the heat. They have stretchy elastic and a strap to loosen or tighten depending on the bottle size. The fanny pack can be worn on the fanny or in front. Also, there is a separate strap that can be connected at the top of the fanny pack to carry it as a purse worn over the shoulder. When it is worn that way, the straps that can go around your waist can be slid into a sturdy space on the back of the fanny pack, getting them stored and out of the way. I was impressed with the look and strength of this fanny pack. It is well-made of water resistant nylon and ripstop nylon. It comes in a variety of colors. I appreciate how much it can hold, how well it fits on the waist with the adjustable straps, and that I have the option to carry it like a purse. Fanny packs have come a long way in the years since they were introduced and this is a great fanny pack to have & I definitely recommend it.

Shea Butter Wisdom's 100% Pure Organic, Unrefined, Raw Shea Butter Is So Beneficial

I have learned that shea butter is one of the best ingredients in body and face creams, hair conditioners, and skin treatments. Shea Butter Wisdom's Organic, Raw, Unrefined Shea Butter is very pure, which means nothing is added to it and there is no chemical processing. Prepare the Shea Butter by making sure it is at room temperature. This allows easy whipping. I do not advocate heating shea butter as that can cause graininess and separation.
Measure 4 oz. room temperature shea butter into a small bowl. Mash the shea butter with a fork. Add 2 Tablespoons of a base oil, such as olive oil, argan oil, or fractionated coconut oil. Continue to mash in this oil until the mixture is lightweight. Add 10 to 20 drops of essential oil, such as lemon, peppermint, cinnamon, lavender or even vanilla. For even more impact, you can add the oil from 1-2 vitamin E capsules. After each addition, continue to mash, then whip the butter. Add a pinch of mica pearlescent powder, such as ivory eyeshadow. This gives a pearlescent hue to the finished butter. Continue whipping the butter with the fork until it becomes very light and fluffy. Drop the butter into a container and it is ready to apply to the skin or use with any hair conditioner. This is my favorite body butter and it is great to apply to the legs or arms, especially during winter months when the skin can get dry and flakey. This body butter helps to hydrate, heal, and seal the moisture in the skin. I definitely recommend Shea Butter Wisdom's Organic Shea Butter for all skin, hair, nails and scalp treatment. It will heal, protect and moisturize your body.

Forlan BB Cream is Soothing and Smoothing

Forlan BB Cream contains Peptides, Fruit Extracts, and Vitamins A & E. It is a lightweight cream that spread easily and absorbs well. It is unscented, which is great if you are using any perfume. As soon as it is applied I could feel a soothing, cooling freshness on my skin. Only a small amount is needed. If you apply too much it takes longer to absorb. This is not a tinted BB cream, so if you want the SPF and tint you will need to apply them after using the Forlan BB Cream. This does moisturize and I found that with continued use my skin remained soft and dewy. It did seem to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. Even after cleansing my skin remained soft and moisturized with no flaking, dryness or a tight feeling. Overall, this is a good anti-aging cream to keep the skin at it's best. I would recommend this cream to provide the moisturization to combat environmental damage to the skin.

Body Merry Lash and Brow Elixir Creates Volume for Lashes and Brows

After having chemotherapy my eyelashes and eyebrows nearly disappeared altogether. While they both have come back to some extent, they remain rather sparse. Also, my brows are thinned from over-plucking in my youth. When I received the Body Merry Lash and Brow Elixir I carefully applied it to both my lashes and brows. Doopoo iHeadphones Feature Comfort, Clarity and Good Sound

I am not an audiophile, but I am on my computer for hours every day and for the majority of time I am wearing earbuds or headphones. I was surprised when I received these earbuds because the "bud" part was actually slanted. I had only ever seen or used earbuds where the "bud" part was at a right angle to the rest of the earbud. I must say that this is an excellent innovation. These earbuds seem to fit in the ear canal better, are more comfortable, and provide better sound dampening. Oleavine Natural Neem Oil - One Product, Many Uses

Tired of chemical products to keep pests at bay? to help heal? for your skin and your garden? Enter Neem Oil. Neem Oil is a product that the FDA has labeled as Generally Recognized As Safe for use in food products. However, I still would recommend care and full understanding of what neem oil is, what it is used for and how safe it is in those uses. Oleavine has utilized both organic neem oil and wildcrafted neem oil. This blocks any possible introduction of other chemicals, heavy metals or solvents. I have used a number of Oleavine's products and have been fully satisfied by all of them. They take care in producing consumer products that are safe and effective. I can't possibly speak as to how you will use neem oil or how it can affect you, I speak only of my personal research and use. Neem oil is often used to control pests (insects, etc.) in the home and garden. It is non-toxic and based on the FDA's category, can be used in/on vegetable plants/fruit trees. It also can be used as an insect repellant. I would only use neem oil on the skin once it has been diluted. My all purpose insect repellant formula is:
a scant 6 oz. of aloe vera liquid (can also use witch hazel, distilled water or fractionated coconut oil)
60 drops of tea tree oil
20 drops of geranium oil
20 drops of neem oil
1 T. vegetable glycerin
Fragrance (scented essential oils, fragrance oils, baking extract (vanilla, peppermint, spearmint)
Shake well and apply

In this case the neem oil is very diluted. All the ingredients work together to repel many insects, flying, crawling, visible or invisible. I will only use neem oil in a carrier, either a regular or a dry oil, such as aloe, coconut oil, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, or other liquid that will dilute the oil. This helps it to be safer, and it also reduces the scent. Perhaps one of the biggest complaints about neem oil is it's scent. It has been described as garlicy, sulphury, composty, earthy and many others. The bottom line is neem just doesn't smell all that good. But diluting it can help reduce, eliminate or replace the smell. When I use it on my skin, either in the above insect repellant or in a lotion or other carrier, I have diluted or scented it so that the smell is close to non-existent. And yes, Oleavine's Neem Oil does have a scent, but since you only use a small amount for most purposes and it is often, if not always diluted, the scent is not an issue for me. Additionally, this is a very economical product that will last a long time, even with repeated use.

This is a multipurpose product. There are an amazing number of possible uses. I suggest that you do your own research and decide if it is for you. I definitely prefer neem oil to commercial insect repellants that contain ingredients with documented research on their poisonous actions to the human body (such as DEET). It is also very effective for many skin conditions, again, without the chemicals and additives that are in the most common skin products. I recommend and trust Oleavine Neem Oil.

Body Merry Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser Cleans and Polishes

I love this Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser. First it has no scent, which is great. Second, it has gentle exfoliating beads that remove oil, makeup residue, and dead skin. It buffs the skin so it feels really clean and really clean. After using this Cleanser with warm water my skin was soft and smooth and felt more hydrated. My pores seemed smaller and it even seemed to lessen my fine lines. This is a healthy way to maintain my skin and make sure that my skin recovers from the use of makeup, environmental hazards and pollution. My advice when using this cleanser is that you only use a small amount, about the size of a quarter, and that you GENTLY smooth onto your face. The Royal Locks Pro Curl Cream makes my hair beautiful, full, and shiney. It can be applied to wet or dry hair. It does have a scent when applied to dry hair, and while it's a pleasant scent it can interfere with perfumes or other scents. I found that applying it to wet/damp hair, after shampoo and conditioning worked the best and really left no scent. Either way, this Curl Cream produces exceptional volume and curl. Only a small amount is needed, making this very economical. I used half a pump on my chin length hair and it was more than enough. It is easy to use and absorbs quickly. When I apply it to my wet hair I usually twist the hair to help the curl. After it air dries, just fluffing it up with my fingers produces a perfectly styled curl coif. You can also use this as a setting lotion, even diluting it slightly. The great thing about the Pro Curl Cream is that you never know it's there. My hair stayed soft and separated. It does not weigh down my hair or clump or stick. It contains Argan Oil to boost shine. It really makes hair appear and feel healthy and strong. I definitely recommend this to improve the look and feel of your hair, offering bountiful curl and volume.

Amara Organics Skin Balancing Facial Toner Refines and Refreshes

I have used a number of products from Amara Organics and have been pleased with all of them. This facial toner is no exception. It contains a number of organic and wildcrafted ingredients, along with witch hazel, aloe vera, neroli and glycolic acid. It has an earthy scent which disappears after it has dried. I spray it on a cotton ball or folded piece of tissue and gently wipe it over my face. It wipes on easily and absorbs quickly. I can tell right away that it is starting to do it's work as my skin feels much less tight and dry. It removes any stubborn makeup and I use it after cleansing. It is great to use under other creams, lotions, serums or even makeup. Even using it alone, it minimizes my pores, giving my face a smooth appearance and fine texture. It also softens my skin and fine lines and wrinkles are reduced. I use it at least twice a day. In the summer, in Louisiana, I sometimes use it up to 4 times a day to help my skin recover from the heat and environment.
