UNi 100% Rosehip Seed Oil is 100% Wonderful

I have used Rosehip Seed Oil for many of my blends for hair, skin, nails and scalp. The UNi Rosehip Seed Oil is especially great to use because the Rosehips are Organic, Fragrance Free and very fresh. This rose-colored oil spreads easily and is absorbed quickly. It moisturizes, heals and protects delicate skin. It also revives limp or frizzy hair, allowing more manageability, shine, and style. It also reduces dryness and itchiness of the scalp. It works well to soften and reduce calluses on the feet and to soften cuticles and rehydrate and protect nails. Rosehip seed oil is very economical as only a small amount is needed. Generally, when I use this in my blends, I measure in drops and it provides it's benefits. It is quite a dry oil, so it's not greasy and will absorb into the skin/hair/scalp/nails.

One of my recipes is for my Hair Helper. I start with:
20 drops of argan oil,
mix in 10 drops of UNi Rosehip Seed Oil,
pierce and add the contents of 1 Vitamin E capsule,
add 3-5 drops of essential fragrance oil, or vanilla, or scented oil or even a few drops of perfume,
add 1 pinch of pearlized mica powder (you can even use a light colored eye shadow, but only a tiny pinch as this will provide a pearlescent shine to the hair)
I shake well before using and only use a few drops at a time, applied to my palm, then both palms are rubbed together and smoothed lightly on hair and scalp.
This recipe can also be diluted with fractionated coconut oil to make a shine spray.
I make up this recipe for my friends and put it in small bottles to share.

Overall I definitely recommend UNi's Rosehip Seed Oil for all the benefits to skin, hair and nails and it's usefulness in blends for the whole body. Even when used by itself it is a hydrating, healing and soothing product without harmful chemicals or additives.

Oleavine Natural Neem Oil - One Product, Many Uses

Tired of chemical products to keep pests at bay? to help heal? for your skin and your garden? Enter Neem Oil. Neem Oil is a product that the FDA has labeled as Generally Recognized As Safe for use in food products. However, I still would recommend care and full understanding of what neem oil is, what it is used for and how safe it is in those uses. Oleavine has utilized both organic neem oil and wildcrafted neem oil. This blocks any possible introduction of other chemicals, heavy metals or solvents. I have used a number of Oleavine's products and have been fully satisfied by all of them. They take care in producing consumer products that are safe and effective. I can't possibly speak as to how you will use neem oil or how it can affect you, I speak only of my personal research and use. Neem oil is often used to control pests (insects, etc.) in the home and garden. It is non-toxic and based on the FDA's category, can be used in/on vegetable plants/fruit trees. It also can be used as an insect repellant. I would only use neem oil on the skin once it has been diluted. My all purpose insect repellant formula is:
a scant 6 oz. of aloe vera liquid (can also use witch hazel, distilled water or fractionated coconut oil)
60 drops of tea tree oil
20 drops of geranium oil
20 drops of neem oil
1 T. vegetable glycerin
Fragrance (scented essential oils, fragrance oils, baking extract (vanilla, peppermint, spearmint)
Shake well and apply

In this case the neem oil is very diluted. All the ingredients work together to repel many insects, flying, crawling, visible or invisible. I will only use neem oil in a carrier, either a regular or a dry oil, such as aloe, coconut oil, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, or other liquid that will dilute the oil. This helps it to be safer, and it also reduces the scent. Perhaps one of the biggest complaints about neem oil is it's scent. It has been described as garlicy, sulphury, composty, earthy and many others. The bottom line is neem just doesn't smell all that good. But diluting it can help reduce, eliminate or replace the smell. When I use it on my skin, either in the above insect repellant or in a lotion or other carrier, I have diluted or scented it so that the smell is close to non-existent. And yes, Oleavine's Neem Oil does have a scent, but since you only use a small amount for most purposes and it is often, if not always diluted, the scent is not an issue for me. Additionally, this is a very economical product that will last a long time, even with repeated use.

This is a multipurpose product. There are an amazing number of possible uses. I suggest that you do your own research and decide if it is for you. I definitely prefer neem oil to commercial insect repellants that contain ingredients with documented research on their poisonous actions to the human body (such as DEET). It is also very effective for many skin conditions, again, without the chemicals and additives that are in the most common skin products. I recommend and trust Oleavine Neem Oil.

You can purchase this on Amazon.com.

ISA Professional Organic Extra Virgin Argan OIl For Hair, Skin and Nails

I have used products from ISA Professional before and have liked all of them. This Organic Argan Oil is no exception. This lightweight amber Argan Oil spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It is not greasy, sticky or oily on the skin. I also mix 2 dropperfulls of the oil in my hair conditioner so my hair and scalp benefit with every time I shampoo and condition. The great thing about Argan Oil is that a little goes a long way. One or two drops does all 10 of my nails and cuticles. If I am styling my hair and need a bit more shine and manageability, I put just 3 drops in my palms and rub my hands together and then through my hair. This is also a great nighttime treatment for my face and neck. Again, using only a few drops covers my face, chin and neck area. I wake the next morning with soft, smooth skin that stays hydrated. It smooths fine lines and wrinkles. The best part about this product is that it is 100% Argan Oil, there is nothing else, and this is Organic Argan Oil, making it free of any pollutants, fillers, chemicals or additives. I definitely recommend ISA Professional Organic Argan Oil for all over body happiness.

Radha Beauty Frankincense Oil Is For Aromatherapy and More

The Radha Beauty Frankincense Oil comes in a blue glass bottle with an eye-dropper. This allows you to only use a small amount and protects the product from oxidation from sunlight. The oil is steam distilled in India and bottled in the USA. This is pure oil, with no other added ingredients. It is never tested on animals. This oil gives a sense of calm and reduced anxiety when inhaled. It is perfect for aromatherapy with a diffuser or light ring. It is an essential oil, so it is good to use with a carrier oil, lotion or cream. Only a small amount is needed to obtain the health benefits. I had never used Frankincense Oil before and I did some research to guide my use of this oil. I added a few drops, no more than 6 drops per oz. is recommended, to my favorite night cream. It blended easily and I could smell it even though I used such a small amount. The scent is woodsy, and reminded me of being in the Redwood Forest in California. This really helped me to relax after I applied my face cream. I also added about 12 drops per oz. to my shampoo and conditioner. With product that can be washed off, such as soap, shampoo or conditioner, you can add an increased amount. It left my hair with a slight, refreshing fragrance. I also made a lightweight toner using witch hazel and 6 drops per oz. in a bottle. Because this is an oil, it does require shaking before each use as the oil stays on the top of the witch hazel. There are many other uses for this oil, both for aroma and health. I have used several products from Radha Beauty and this Frankincense Oil is another quality product. I definitely recommend this oil for your use and suggest you google to find the uses that are specific to you. A little goes a long way.

NouveauOrganica is a Truly Organic Face Moisturizer

Ingredients: Organic Shea Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Argan Oil, Organic Evening Primrose Oil, Organic Rosehip Oil, Organic Calendula Extract, Organic Clary Sage Oil, Organic Ylang Ylang Oil, Organic Frankincense Oil, Organic Geranium Oil. Product comes in a jar that allows it to be easily dispensed. There is no animal testing and it is made in the USA. Product remains fresh for 6 months after opening.

The Product: This product is a solid oil with a light scent. Only a very small amount is needed. If the oil is too firm it can be warmed in the hands until it is more liquid. I applied the oil to my face, chin and neck. It is very easy to blend and gently slides across my skin. One issue is that the oil took a long time to absorb into my skin. I would not be able to use this oil during the day under makeup. Once absorbed my skin felt soft and smooth. It remained hydrated even after cleansing. It is wonderful that this product is 100% USDA certified as Organic. Overall I liked this product as part of my nightly skin care. I applied it last over my facial serum, allowing it time to be fully absorbed prior to sleep.

goPure Naturals Rosehip Oil has a variety of beauty uses for skin, hair and nails

Certified organic Rosehip Oil by gopure naturals comes in a 4 oz. amber glass bottle with an eyedropper. The golden liquid is protected from oxidation or contamination by pollutants. It is cruelty free. The Rosehip Oil comes from Chile and is bottled in the USA. To apply I simply place a few drops on my fingertips and gently pat onto my face. I have also used a cotton ball and a folded piece of tissue. It really helps hydrate my skin and ease any tightness due to dryness. I have also used it on scratches to fade their appearance after healing. In my shampoo and conditioner I've added 1 dropperful. This really hydrates and softens my hair and leaves it more manageable. I am impressed with how well it absorbs. It is not greasy or oily on the skin or hair. It has a very minimal scent. It also decreases the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Of course it has other benefits. It can reduce the appearance of stretch marks and acne scarring, reduce redness and other skin discoloration, improve sun spots, and moisturize nails and cuticles. This essential oil can be used full strength or can be added to lotions, creams, serums and hair products. I used it for all these uses and can say that this particular product works well without any other chemicals or strong scents. It even retains it's benefits after cleansing, keeping my skin soft, smooth and dewy. While your results may not be exactly like mine, I do recommend this product to improve skin, nail and hair appearance and texture.

LaLune Naturals Lemon Essential Oil is Pure, Natural and Refreshing

LaLune Naturals Lemon Essential Oil is 100% cold-pressed, therapeutic grade Lemon Essential Oil (Citrus Limonum). It comes in an amber glass bottle with eye-dropper. This protects it from oxidation and contamination from pollutants. It is Vegan and Cruelty Free. It remains fresh for 12 months after opening. Because this is a concentrated essential oil it is important to always dilute it, either with a carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, or by blends 1 or 2 drops in another product such as a face cream or shampoo. Some people may be sensitive to Lemon Oil. In that case it should not be used or be used only 1 drop at a time in a large volume of a carrier product.

There are many uses for lemon essential oil. One of my favorites is to put a few drops into my garbage disposal before I run it. This leaves the whole kitchen smelling sweet and fresh. I also put several drops into my shampoo and conditioner. When used on the skin in a carrier, you should wait until it's fully absorbed before going out into the sun, as it can increase the likelihood of sunburn. It is wonderfully refreshing, energizing and also calming aromatically. Mixed with lotion it can be great as a massage lotion and also helps with headaches, opening the sinuses, and uplifting the senses. Not only does it impart a light lemony scent but it helps to show off blondish highlights in my hair. I also use a very few drops in my laundry to freshen clothes, especially smelly socks, sheets and towels. I primarily use a vinegar cleaner in my kitchen for counters, sinks and floors. Adding a dropperful of lemon oil to a quart of vinegar and water cleaner not only decreases the vinegar scent, but it also assists in the cleaning process. Lemon oil is a natural antiseptic and disinfectant. You can also add lemon oil to your diffuser to remove odors and to provide a fresh, clean scent to each room. This is high quality lemon oil, concentrated and natural. Only a small amount is needed in all it's many uses for the home, health, and spirit. I would definitely recommend LaLune Naturals Lemon Essential Oil as it worked well for me in the laundry, removing odors, cleaning counters, floors, and furniture, and energizing my body. Do use caution to keep this out of the reach of children, do not use during pregnancy, and avoid using near the eyes.

Radha Tea Tree Oil Has Great Purity and Is So Useful

Radha Tea Tree Oil is 100% Pure Melaleuca Alternifolia Tea Tree Oil that is steam distilled. It comes in a blue glass bottle with an eye dropper. This helps protect the tea tree oil from oxidation and pollution from the environment. It originates in Australia and is bottled in the USA. It is not tested on animals. The tea tree oil remains fresh for 6 months after opening, The smell is strong, but clean. I first tried it mixed in my home cleaning solution, as I know it has disinfecting properties. It seemed to boost the power of my cleaner and left a fresh, light scent. I also added approximately 1 drop per 1 ml of shampoo. I was concerned about the smell remaining on my hair, but knew as soon as I rinsed it that would not be a problem. The shampoo performed better than it had without the Tea Tree oil. It left my hair soft, shiny and looking very healthy. I also combined the Tea Tree oil with some lemon essential oil to help scent my home with freshness. I know now that I will only use 100% Tea Tree oil and this brand as it is so much better than so many others that add fillers, preservatives, or chemicals. It only takes a few drops (not full ounces) to improve cleaning, freshening, and deodorizing, so this bottle will last a long time. Just make sure you get the real thing and not something that is not 100% Pure Tea Tree oil, better bang for your buck and better for you and your environment.

It can be purchased online at Amazon.com, where you will also see my 5 Star review.

Rosehip Seed Oil by Aveya Beauty works for skin, scars and more

Ingredients: Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Rosa Moschata Seed Oil. This oil comes in an amber glass bottle with no eye dropper. It is made in the USA. It is not tested on animals.

The Product: The wonderful thing about rose hip seed oil is that is a pure refined oil, with no added chemicals, preservatives, fragrances or color. This rose hip seed oil blends across the skin easily. It has a very minimal scent. On application it immediately starts softening and smoothing my skin. It also decreases the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. One of my favorite qualities about rose hip seed oil is that it really reduces the appearance of small scars. It seems to soften the scarred skin and reduce the redness. Of course it has other benefits. It can reduce the appearance of stretch marks and acne scarring, reduce redness and other skin discoloration, improve sun spots, moisturize nails and cuticles, and a few drops can be added to shampoo and conditioners to help soften hair and make it more manageable. This essential oil can be used full strength or can be added to lotions, creams, serums and hair products. goPure Naturals Peppermint Oil has many uses in the home

Ingredients: Steam Distilled Peppermint Essential Oil (Mentha Piperita). The oil comes in an amber glass bottle with eye-dropper. It is bottled in the USA. It is not tested on animals.

The Product: Peppermint Essential Oil has many uses. While it could be used as a dietary supplement I would only do that on the advice of a physician. It is also important to use the peppermint oil combined in another oil, cream, lotion, witch hazel, water or some other carrier. When used with a carrier it leaves a cooling sensation when spread on the skin. Some people are sensitive to the oil on the skin, so a small patch test would be good prior to using the combined oil. I used goPure Peppermint Oil in with my laundry to give a fresh, clean scent. Only a few drops were needed, which I placed in the bleach dispenser so it would be diffused. I used it in my hand soap dispenser, and a few drops in my hair conditioner. I also added about 1 eyedropper full to my vinegar and water cleaning solution. The vinegar did the cleaning, but the peppermint oil left a great scent everywhere. I especially love how it can just be used to improve and energize my feelings and energy. Simply smelling the oil helped to clear my sinuses and I felt relaxed, but also revitalized. Smelling directly from the bottle is one of the most cost effective uses. I love this Peppermint Oil. It is a very generous amount for the price and really has so many uses. Since Spring has finally arrived in Louisiana, I know in addition to everything being in bloom, the insects have awakened. So, I used the peppermint oil, full strength from the bottle and placed on cotton balls. I put these in the back of my kitchen and bathroom cupboards to hopefully reduce the bug population. I have done this before and find that peppermint oil effectively keeps the bugs away and also releases a wonderful scent when I open the cupboard. I've used other products from goPure and have been pleasantly surprised by all of them. This oil is another fine addition to their product line. It is a pure oil, no added fillers and not diluted. So you really get what you pay for. Very high quality, reasonable price, and it comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Foxbrim's Rosehip Seed Oil Moisturizes and Heals

Ingredients: Certified USDA and EcoCert ICO 100% Organic Rosehip Seed Oil. The product comes in an amber glass bottle with pump. This keeps the product safe from contamination or oxidation. It is recommended to refrigerate the product. It is not tested on animals. It remains fresh for 12 months after opening the container.

The Product: I had heard of rosehip seed oil before, but I had never looked into what it did or even how to use it. Basically, rosehip seed oil contains many essential fatty acids and vitamins. It is an amber colored liquid. It is considered a "dry" oil, it easily absorbs into the skin and does not leave a greasy or tacky residue. It can be used full strength on the skin or mixed into creams, lotions, shampoos or conditioners. It is shown to be an effective moisturizer that penetrates deeply into the skin. It also is helpful to reduce scarring and sun damage. When using the Foxbrim Rosehip Seed Oil, a single pump is enough to cover the face and neck. I used it on my face, neck, hands and hair. It was very easy to lightly pat the oil on and gently smooth it. It did absorb quickly and completely. The scent is very mild and pleasant, reminding me of nuts. I also have some scars on my hands and arms from a very aggressive kitten I had recently adopted. I wanted to see how it would work on those. On my face, it absorbed and began to sooth and smooth my skin. It absorbed so well that I believe it can be used under makeup or multiple times per day. I really loved the softness of my skin after application. The softness remained even after cleansing. It left my skin feeling supple, smooth, and firm, moisturized, yet not greasy. I do have dry skin, so it might be slightly less absorbent for a person with oily skin. I saw that it actually did seem to reduce the fine lines and wrinkles on my face and hands. My face seemed brighter and more dewy than before application. On the "kitten scratches" on my hands, the redness was reduced, as well as the raised area of the scratch. The scratches seemed to heal much faster with less scarring or marking remaining. While your results may not be exactly like mine, I definitely recommend Foxbrim's Rosehip Seed Oil for your skin care. It is wonderful to have an organic product that benefits the skin and has lasting results.

Pure Body Naturals Peppermint Oil Is Perfect for Aromatic, Medicinal and Household Uses

Ingredients: Peppermint Essential Oil, Therapeutic Grade

The Product: Pure Body Naturals Peppermint Essential Oil comes in an amber glass bottle with an eye-dropper. The amber glass is useful for preventing changes to the product from sunlight or direct light. It is not tested on animals, is cruelty free, and remains potent for 12 months after opening. Peppermint Essential Oil, like other essential oils, has aromatic, medicinal, and household uses. The Pure Body Naturals Peppermint Oil is perfectly scented to work well in diffusers, on cotton balls or even on small pieces of paper to lift and revive your spirits aromatically. The scent of this peppermint oil is not overpowering or acrid. It is very pleasant and gentle, but still strong enough to enjoy on it's own or for full house scenting. It removes unpleasant odors and the scent itself energizes and invigorates. It clears the sinuses, improves breathing, relaxes muscles, increases mental focus and can boost energy. This oil can be used full strength for aromatherapy. For medicinal and household uses it is usually diluted with a carrier oil or cream, or with other cleaning products. Medicinally, peppermint oil has been used to freshen breath, reduce nausea, can be used with a lotion to massage tight muscles and reduce pain, energize scalp when a few drops are added to shampoo and/or conditioner, and also works as a natural bug repellant. Again, using peppermint oil medicinally, it should be diluted with water, lotions, or other oils. I use it frequently to clear my sinuses and to soothe and energize my scalp in a conditioner. Mixing it with a mild lotion helps ease my muscle and joint aches. It can also be mixed with coconut oil. Applying the peppermint oil to skin imparts an immediate cooling sensation which then has a calming effect. This particular peppermint oil smells so good that you can actually go out in public after you have applied it to sore muscles. I received many compliments about how great it smelled, especially since it was during the Christmas holidays. For household uses, in some cases, it can be used at full strength. I used it to freshen my garbage disposal, mixed with vinegar which I use to clean up counters and small messes. Once Spring and the bug season starts I will put it on cotton balls and put in my cupboards to repel bugs. Also, since we sometimes have problems with ants, especially after heavy rains, I plan to put some strategically around the outside of my house. My dog, who sometimes goes into forested areas has had a problem in the past with ticks. I will be putting a drop of peppermint oil on the outside of her collar (not the area that actually touches her skin). Using this peppermint oil in cleaning solutions helps to freshen, clean, and delightfully scent the whole house. I definitely would recommend Pure Body Naturals Peppermint Oil as it is high quality and all natural. The 4 oz. bottle will last a long time since it will be mixed with oils/lotions/creams/cleaning solutions. It is therapeutic grade and bottled in the USA, so I trust it. Do use caution to keep this out of the reach of children, do not use during pregnancy, and avoid using near the eyes. Pure Body Naturals Lemon Oil Can Make Your Life Better

Ingredients: Lemon Peel Oil
The Product: Pure Body Naturals Lemon Oil comes in an amber glass 4 oz. bottle with eye dropper. The amber glass keeps the product from oxidizing over time. The Lemon Oil was produced in Italy and bottled in the USA, not tested on animals, and stays fresh for 12 months from date of opening. It is 100% Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil. The uses for pure oils are endless, but can usually be broken down into Aromatic, Medicinal, and Household. The first thing I did with this lemon oil was to put 7 drops in my garbage disposal to remove the scents that lingered from grinding food scraps. It worked wonders and I plan to do this weekly to keep those odors away. Other household uses are in the laundry (8-15 drops added to detergent, and/or 8 drops added to dryer sheets), added to dish soap and to cleaning products. I primarily use vinegar as a cleaner for counters and pet messes. Adding 7-10 drops to a spray bottle of vinegar reduces the vinegary smell, and the natural antiseptic, disinfectant properties aid in cleaning. You can add a drop or two to your furniture polish to give a great shine and scent. You can also use lemon oil to remove stickers or gummy residue. When used aromatically or medicinally, lemon oil should never be applied full strength. You can add it to creams, carrier lotions, water or other oils. Jojoba and grape seed oil make excellent carriers for the lemon oil. You can add a few drops to your shampoo or conditioner to refresh your hair. You can also add lemon oil to your diffuser to remove odors and to provide a fresh, clean scent to each room. This is high quality lemon oil, concentrated and natural. Only a small amount is needed in all it's many uses for the home, health, and spirit. I would definitely recommend Pure Body Naturals Lemon Oil as it worked well for me in the laundry, removing odors, cleaning counters, floors, and furniture, and energizing my body. Do use caution to keep this out of the reach of children, do not use during pregnancy, and avoid using near the eyes.
