Beauty By Shea/Hydracentials Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter Makes Beautiful Body Butters

I had not used raw shea butter before, but wanted to try my hand at some body butters. I found a number of recipes online and after reading them all decided to make one of my own. There are numerous questions about how to make a body butter. Most recipes say to melt the shea butter, but that could lead to graininess. I decided that I would just use room temperature raw shea butter and go from there. So this is the recipe I came up with:
4 oz. room temperature Beauty By Shea Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter, mash this up in a bowl with a spoon
2 tablespoons base oil (I used fractionated coconut oil for this), mash this in
10-20 drops of essential oil, mash this in
Then break out those arm muscles and rapidly stir with a spoon until it starts to resemble whipped edible butter. This did not take long, perhaps a minute or two.

The result was perfection. I should have added a bit more essential oil, but the body butter was gorgeous. I put it into small containers. One of these I took to a friend who is recovering from surgery. Her skin had gotten so dry and flakey in the hospital and at home. I rubbed this body butter onto her skin and it immediately penetrated and I could see that it removed all the flakes and rehydrated the skin, without being greasy. I definitely recommend this Shea Butter from Beauty By Shea. I am a novice at making things like this and was so pleased that it worked perfectly the first time out, even though I had made up my own recipe. This Shea Butter is easy to measure and easy to work with. While your results may not be identical to mine (I think some body butters may be more difficult than others and may be affected by your weather, humidity, and temperature), I do believe you, too, can make your own body butter for a fraction of the cost of the "department store" brands.

goPure Naturals Rosehip Oil has a variety of beauty uses for skin, hair and nails

Certified organic Rosehip Oil by gopure naturals comes in a 4 oz. amber glass bottle with an eyedropper. The golden liquid is protected from oxidation or contamination by pollutants. It is cruelty free. The Rosehip Oil comes from Chile and is bottled in the USA. To apply I simply place a few drops on my fingertips and gently pat onto my face. I have also used a cotton ball and a folded piece of tissue. It really helps hydrate my skin and ease any tightness due to dryness. I have also used it on scratches to fade their appearance after healing. In my shampoo and conditioner I've added 1 dropperful. This really hydrates and softens my hair and leaves it more manageable. I am impressed with how well it absorbs. It is not greasy or oily on the skin or hair. It has a very minimal scent. It also decreases the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Of course it has other benefits. It can reduce the appearance of stretch marks and acne scarring, reduce redness and other skin discoloration, improve sun spots, and moisturize nails and cuticles. This essential oil can be used full strength or can be added to lotions, creams, serums and hair products. I used it for all these uses and can say that this particular product works well without any other chemicals or strong scents. It even retains it's benefits after cleansing, keeping my skin soft, smooth and dewy. While your results may not be exactly like mine, I do recommend this product to improve skin, nail and hair appearance and texture.
