By taking 2 of the softgels in this Omega3 Fish Oil you get 2000 mg of Fish Oil from a combination of Herring, Anchovy, Sardine, Salmon and Mackerel. This provides 800 mg of EPA and 600 mg of DHA. The product is tested and guaranteed to meet Prop 65 limits. The product is made in the USA at an FDA registered and inspected facility. One of the interesting things I found with these fish oil gelcaps is that they have an enteric coating. So, while the fish oil softgels are approximately the same size as most fish oil gelcaps, these have an enteric coating. The Product: Several years ago I was told that my cholesterol level was high and the doctor recommended that I take prescription medications for it. Every fish oil capsule I have ever seen is big. Sometimes, they are difficult to swallow because they are big. But the great thing about the EarthWell Omega-3 Fish Oil capsule is that it is lemon flavored. It seems to really help in the swallowing. So rather than being a dreaded process, taking this fish oil causes no problems at all. In addition to being good for my cholesterol level, fish oil in general, benefits the heart, joints, skin, and brain functioning. I'm so glad I tried this product and plan to continue using flavored fish oil. I just wish all the supplements were so easy to take.
