Alpha Grillers Instant Meat Thermometer for All That You Cook

I've used many types of food thermometers before, some specialized like candy or meat. Although this is sold as a "Meat" thermometer, I find it is useful for all food heating. While it is described as "Instant" it does take a few seconds to actually reach the temperature of the food being measured. This was an issue for my husband but not for me. I prefer to make sure the temperature has stabilized so I know that I have a good reading. It is also nice that if you need to keep measuring you can follow the temperature change by clicking "hold" on your first measurement and then clicking "hold" again immediately prior to your next measurement. I had an instance where I had to take 4 measurements over a 4 hour time period. This thermometer did this perfectly. I also appreciate that this thermometer uses a AAA battery, which I can easily recharge, so I don't have to keep buying those silly button batteries that can cost a fortune over time. It also has a lifetime guarantee. So far, this is the best food thermometer I have ever owned and I definitely recommend it for all your food temperature needs.
