The Product: The product is a reddish liquid. Only a few drops are needed to cover face, with a few more drops for chin and neck area. It goes on easily and absorbs quickly. It absorbs so well that it can be worn under sunscreen and makeup. The product plumps the skin and hides fine lines and wrinkles. It has a floral fragrance that is not overpowering and would not interfere with other scents. The product hydrates and moisturizes skin. For even more hydration a separate moisturizing cream can be used. With continued use the benefits of hydration, smoothing, soothing, and refining skin appearance and texture also continue. I love combining a number of ingredients into one "Super" serum. There is no need to apply multiple products to get the same effect. This product combines 6 wonderful ingredients that are essential in skin care. I will list and describe each one:
22% Vitamin C - This is an antioxidant that can stimulate the production of collagen and minimizes fine lines and wrinkles.
2.5% Retinol - This increases collagen production, plumps the skin which minimizes fine lines and wrinkles, it also brightens skin and helps to reduce irregular pigmentation.
20% Hyaluronic Acid - This is actually already produced by the body to lubricate joints and to hydrate skin. As we age the natural HA is reduced. HA in this serum helps to moisturize the skin and helps the skin actually retain more moisture.
2.5% Niacinamide (B3) - This vitamin improves skin elasticity. It can reduce the inflammation of the skin reducing redness. Also, it has been found to increase the effectiveness of sunscreen.
2.5% CoQ10 - This is an antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals that can cause damage to the skin.
0.5% Astaxanthin - This antioxidant helps reduce inflammation, protects skin cells and is especially useful under sunscreen.
This combination of 6 active ingredients really left my skin looking great. There are even additional ingredients that benefit the skin such as green tea, glycerin and vitamin E.
