The picker has sharp, thin points that can easily fit between the teeth. I would say these are designed to tag any small bits of food that lodge between teeth. The scraper has formed points with flat sides that can be used to gently scrape from the gumline to the top of the tooth to remove stains and tartar buildup.I have not quite managed to use the little mirror and pick or scraper at the same time. I stand in front of my mirror and carefully go gently around all my teeth with the picker to see if there are any leftover bits that escaped my regular brushing and flossing. The next thing I do is use the scraper to gently scrape my teeth, especially my front teeth, and remove any tartar. This is a quality set. It is 100% stainless steel, so they can go in the dishwasher or be boiled to clean. Each tool is sturdy with a bit of weight in each handle. They are easy to use and have a textured handle that helps to grip the tool. Since receiving and using this set, I plan to cut out one whole cleaning, saving me $150 and I may consider just having a once a year consult that might save even more. I do recommend this set and feel it does a good job of keeping my teeth healthy and tartar free.

As someone who has tried a variety of teeth whitening products, including gels, strips, rinses, and toothpastes, I can say that the Justified Laboratories Premium Teeth Whitening Kit is superior to all of them. It comes with a mouth tray that allows you to whiten your top and bottom teeth at the same time. It also comes with an LED light to speed up the whitening process. All you do is put a very small amount of the gel from the syringe into the tray, spreading it thinly on both sides. You place the soft plastic tray in your mouth and place the LED light against the tray. I was able to hold both the tray and the light with my lips keeping the light against the tray. I used it for 15 minutes, then turned off the light and removed it and the tray. I then rinsed the tray and my teeth and wiped off the light. I could actually see that my teeth started looking whiter after the first use. Continued use improved the whiteness of my teeth. I would recommend that you brush your teeth right before placing the tray in your mouth and rinse well, but do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after using the gel. This allows the whitening process to finalize. My teeth did feel a bit sensitive, but not as bad as some other products. I was amazed at the fast improvement and there was no hassle about having to do the top teeth and the bottom teeth separately and the gel didn't drip or ooze like some other products I've tried. I had just about given up on home whitening products until I received this great product. While your results may not be identical to mine, I definitely recommend this product as a fast and efficient way to whiten your teeth without spending 100's of dollars at the dentist.

Oral SteriClean UV Portable Sanitizer is one of those products you never think you need, but are glad to have. Many years ago I worked at a hospital that had UV lights over all the entrances and exits to assure workers and patients would not carry germs away with them. This product does the same thing. While UV light does not sterilize, it does sanitize. The product is easy to use and portable, you can take it with you on trips or even have a second one in your office desk, wherever you have a toothbrush. We use our toothbrushes every day, yet fail to really clean them. I think it is because we assume the toothpaste, once rinsed off, will keep the brush clean. However, I can't see bacteria and I finally realized when I got this product, that the only cleaning I had even done of the toothbrush was to infrequently put it in the dishwasher.
