I have never had a stretch strap before and was a little uncertain how to use this once I got it. However, I do go to a warm water therapy pool several times a week. I was tired of using waterlogged noodles to stretch and strengthen my legs and thought this stretch strap might work better than those noodles. This strap proved to be just what I needed in this pool. I started by putting one opening on the strap under my knee and another opening about 3 openings down over my ankle. I then held the strap out in front of me and felt the stretch throughout my leg, both on the upper thigh and calves. I help this pose for 2 minutes and switched legs. I then turned to face the wall of the pool and put one opening over my ankle and slightly lifted that ankle so the calf and foot were parallel to the bottom of the pool. I held this pose for 2 minutes and switched. I then went to a deeper part of the pool where there was a metal ladder and hooked the strap around both sides of the ladder. I held the strap and bent and flexed my trunk and legs. This strap worked perfectly for me doing my exercises in the pool. I am also using it for some yoga stretches (on land, of course) and have found it to be beneficial. One thing I would recommend is for SalsaCrazy to include a few examples of how to use the strap in various position to easily stretch the body. This strap is very well made and will last for years. If you do use it in a pool or in salt water, I suggest rinsing it well to remove traces of chemicals or salt. Overall, I am very pleased with this strap and do recommend it.

I've used many types of food thermometers before, some specialized like candy or meat. Although this is sold as a "Meat" thermometer, I find it is useful for all food heating. While it is described as "Instant" it does take a few seconds to actually reach the temperature of the food being measured. This was an issue for my husband but not for me. I prefer to make sure the temperature has stabilized so I know that I have a good reading. It is also nice that if you need to keep measuring you can follow the temperature change by clicking "hold" on your first measurement and then clicking "hold" again immediately prior to your next measurement. Ezy Pruner Ratchet Pruning Shears Make Big Tasks Into Little Ones

I don't get out and do yardwork often, especially in Louisiana when the heat index is over 100 degrees. I took a picture of an area I wanted to trim back. After a nice little rain the temperature was tolerable to go after that spot. I found that the Ezy Pruner was exactly that, easy to prune back and trim off what I didn't want. In 15 minutes I was able to clear the area and was able to see out of my window. The ratcheting action seemed to do the hard work for me. At my last dental cleaning I found the price had gone up by $50 and the actual "cleaning" component consisted of a few picks between my teeth, tapping on several teeth and a quick polish. The scraper has formed points with flat sides that can be used to gently scrape from the gumline to the top of the tooth to remove stains and tartar buildup.I have not quite managed to use the little mirror and pick or scraper at the same time. I stand in front of my mirror and carefully go gently around all my teeth with the picker to see if there are any leftover bits that escaped my regular brushing and flossing. The next thing I do is use the scraper to gently scrape my teeth, especially my front teeth, and remove any tartar. This is a quality set. It is 100% stainless steel, so they can go in the dishwasher or be boiled to clean. Each tool is sturdy with a bit of weight in each handle. They are easy to use and have a textured handle that helps to grip the tool. Since receiving and using this set, I plan to cut out one whole cleaning, saving me $150 and I may consider just having a once a year consult that might save even more. I do recommend this set and feel it does a good job of keeping my teeth healthy and tartar free.

Clean Paws = Happy Feet

Having 3 cats, who all share 1 litter box, can be an issue if you are barefooted when trying to "scoop the box". We have tried having just a mat under the box, but we have one kitten who thinks he is digging to China every time he goes in the box. Placing this mat outside the box has made a tremendous difference. First, the cats are not tracking the litter way outside the box and second, this collects even the litter cast our by our digger. It has also saved on litter. Now we just pick up the mat and shake the litter back into the box. It is also very easy to just take the mat outside and rinse it clean with the hose rather than moving the box, picking up the tile covering that the whole box is sitting on, taking it outside and washing it, drying it, then putting it back, then moving the box back. We do have a little brush and dustpan, but this mat saves time and effort so we rarely need to use the brush and dustpan. AlphaShades Car Windshield Shades Keep the Interior Cooler With No Fading

I used to think all windshield shades were the same, but these Windshield Shades from AlphaShade are different. I do have a little car and at first I thought these would be too big. However, once I opened them in my little car, I found they fit perfectly and could actually be used to also cover my radar detector to protect it from the sun. These shades are lightweight, "fold up" easily with just a twist of the wrist, can be anchored in the folded form by a stretchy band, and fit into a small carrying case. They are silvery, metallic coated on one side and black on the other side. Some Like It Hot...

And the MIRA French Press Travel Mug will keep it hot. This is a very portable, lightweight, double-walled stainless steel French Press Mug/Container. I love tea, especially tea leaves, but often don't have time to brew a whole pot of it. With this MIRA French Press I can put some leaves in the bottom of the Mug and then fill with hot water, usually from the microwave. Then I insert the press and slowly push it down. After that I can screw on the top, let it steep and open the flap to enjoy flavorful, hot tea. It is possible to also add sugar or cream after the press is inserted. I actually didn't think this mug would keep my beverage that hot, so I did a test. I put boiling water in the mug and then inserted the press and measured the temperature through the drink opening. It was 203.2 degrees. I waited an hour and measured again. It was 170.2 degrees. At 2 hours after starting the temperature was 148.8 degrees. And finally, at 4 hours after starting the temperature was 120.7 degrees. I was astonished that it could keep my beverage that hot for that long. Of course, if you want it cooler you can leave the flip top open or add milk or ice cubes to cool it quicker. This MIRA French Press is perfect to bring to work or on the go to have warm/hot beverages. It is easy to use and clean. I definitely recommend this product for perfect French Press beverages any time.
